Sturdy totes to use as knitting project totes, shopping or travel bags.

Knit in double strand 8ply (DK) weight yarn. Adding novelty yarn is optional.

Finished sizes: Approximate, as size will vary with the amount of felting and yarn choice.
Small: 13" (33cm) wide, 12" (30cm) deep;

Medium: 17" (43cm) wide, 14" (36cm) deep;

Large: 18" (46cm) wide, 17" (43cm) deep.

Yarn Requirements:
Main Yarn: 650 (1030, 1350) yds (594 (941, 1234) meters) of DK weight wool that will felt quickly and easily.

Yarn is used double throughout.

Novelty yarn: 70 (100, 125) yds (64 (91, 114) meters). This yarn is not intended to felt, instead it is held in with the felted wool. Choose a yarn with a fine core (binder thread) so that it will not cause a large change in the felted gauge of the wool.
We have used Trendsetter's Flora in the small and large tote and Charm in the medium tote.
