Quinte Scrapbook - Mission Falls

The Quinte Region is one of the oldest settled areas in Canada. Located on the northern shore of Lake Ontario, it is a land with rolling fields of sweet corn and abundant apple orchards.

The region's rich history, quaint villages and white sand beaches make it a favorite summertime ramble. Many of the garments in this book are named after Quinte locales and their styles are reflective, in colour and motif, of the place designer Mags Kandis calls home.

The book includes full instructions for 14 original designs using Mission Falls 1824 Wool (10ply) yarn. Alternatively Mission Falls 1824 Cotton (10ply) yarn can be substituted to make a lighter garment. The book is illustrated using colour photographs of each of the designs and the patterns and charts are clear with most including information for producing multiple sizes.
